Raffle Rules and Regulations

You must be 18 years of age or older to donate and participate in the 7 Degrees of Change Global Literacy Raffle.

All communications, including the email ticket confirmation, will be sent to the email address supplied during the donation process. It is the donor's responsibility to provide a valid, deliverable mailing address and email address to: 7 Degrees of Change Foundation (7DoC); and 7DOC, its respective board, committee members, volunteers, partners, vendors, agents, representatives, sponsors, service agencies and independent contractors, and each of their respective directors, officers, partners, employees and agents, including advertising, public relations, direct marketing and promotion agencies agents, Board, vendors, volunteers and members assume no liability for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, undelivered entries or entries without proper payment received, which entries shall be deemed invalid and shall be immediately disqualified.

7DOC decisions shall be final. 7DOC may at any time modify, revise, or update the Official Rules to correct any errors, omissions or changes to the Raffle, in its sole discretion.

DRAWING DATE SCHEDULED FOR May 31, 2014, or until the maximum number of tickets are sold: All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited. Entries will be made either by check or via the Internet. All donations are non-refundable per IRS rules.

7DOC employees and Board members are not eligible to participate in this Raffle.

COST: Each entry is $100.00, plus processing fees. Each entry is non-refundable.

By entering the Raffle, the donor acknowledges that he or she is aware of and is bound by all of the official raffle rules.

PRIZES: The winner of the Grand Prize ("GPW") is entitled to a car of his or her choosing from Ilderton Motors Company valued at $30,000.00. Car comes factory equipped and GPW is solely responsible for any and all shipping and handling costs and state or local license, title, registration, taxes, or fees associated with the vehicle, as well as insurance (proof of which must be shown prior to possession) and pickup or delivery costs at the dealership, as well as any non-standard options chosen by GPW and negotiated with the dealership. The car is subject to availability at the automobile dealer and may be substituted with a comparable vehicle by GPW.
OTHER PRIZES:
• Purchase your tickets by February 28th, 2014 and you will have 2 chances to win $500
• Purchase your tickets by January 31st, 2014 and you will have 2 chances to win $1,500
• Purchase your tickets by December 31st, 2013 and you will have 3 chances to win $2,500
Winning a cash prize will not disqualify you from the grand prize of $30,000 toward a Chrysler product from Ilderton Motors.

DRAWINGS: A maximum of 4,000 and a minimum of 2,000 entries will be sold for the Raffle.
 Entries must to be received by 11:59 p.m. EST on the date prior to the drawing in order to be eligible for this drawing. The date of the drawing will be posted on the web site 30 days prior to taking place.

NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: GPW will be notified via e-mail or by phone of the prize won and any requisite procedures to claim the prize. GPW will be required to pay shipping charges on all prizes. Only GPW’s first name and last initial and location by city or town, and state, will be posted at www.7degreesofchange.org and 7DOC’s Facebook page. If a selected winner is unable to be contacted or located after a period of forty (40) days from the draw date of any raffle drawing, the prize or its cash equivalent will be deemed to have been donated to 7DOC for use by its charitable organization. All contact attempts shall be made to the address and email address provided by the raffle entry contributor. GPW, by entering, authorizes 7DOC to publish his or her name and likeness on www.7degreesofchange.org and 7DOC’s Facebook page and for it to be used in other promotional materials by 7DOC.

The odds of winning a prize are dependent upon the number of valid entries received, but shall be between 10-in-2,000 (1/200) and 10-in-4,000 (1/400). For example, the statement of 1-in-200 chance to win a prize is based on the acquisition of a single ticket, with 2,000 total tickets being issued. In the event of a winning entry having more than one name, 7DOC will award the prize to the first name listed on the entry. Records of 7DOC shall be deemed correct if there is any discrepancy between 7DOC’s records and the entrant’s records. 7DOC is not responsible for resolving any disputes that may arise from different individuals listed on a raffle certificate. With proper transfer documents bearing notarized signatures, as required by the Raffle, a prize may be transferred. Winners are responsible for all shipping and handling costs.
